40 deluxe dash paint
I was just cleaning up a bit in my garage and found a couple cans of paint that someone had given me several years ago stating that it was for the dash.
One can had never been opened and was the sand? color. The other was a nearly full can of maroon. Just gave it a good stir and it is absolutely beautiful. It looks like it may have some pearl in it. Part #01a-3601 & 3602 from Drakes. I don't believe he has sold it for years though. I wonder if I could get someone to match the paint? Don't think the local hardware store can do it. lol Fourdy |

Re: 40 deluxe dash paint
Drake does sell a spray can of brown and also sand which comes very-very close to the original. I bought some and was really surprised how close in color it was !

Sid, (my dumb face on) how do I tell? If lacquer I suppose it should smell like my lacquer can? Not sure about enamel. Someone teach me.
