Default What is the Best Method to Remove Water Spots

I have water spots on the hood of my car that have been quite resistant to my attempts to remove them. I would appreciate any suggestions for products or methods that you have used to successfully get rid of water spots on your car's finish.
Thanks in advance.

If you haven't waxed the car yet, a simple solution of vinegar and water will got them off. You might have to use straight vinegar if they have hardened. If you have waxed the car........too bad.
