Thanks again. The latest Judging Standard I have is 1989 & kinda vague.
They just mention the August 1930 change from 62-7/8 to 60" length.

My Dec 28 car measures 63-1/8 with a tape measure but that could be off a little. The ends dent in though as described, just not as much as the earlier 28.

Looks like 1930-31 was almost flat across, no shaping on the ends.
I do see a picture in DeAngelis et al 1971 pn pg 155 of a prototype 1930 car, dated Sep 26, 1929, it still has the 1928-29 style bumper not the flatter 1930 style.
