Default The long and winding road…….

I guess I feel nostalgic around the holidays. Just passed the 3rd anniversary of owning my car. For some reason I decided to go back and look at the first several posts I did on here. I guess I have learnt a few things since then. First post was a wanted posting for "Both" tail light brackets for my 32 (they only came with one).

The shared knowledge and patience of people like Dave and Dick and encouragement by many others have kept me going in this hobby. I work on my car once a month or so (it was initially stored at my Dad's 7.5 hours away). I asked a ton of stupid questions (many of which were in the 32 book). Ran the restore… no... Hot rod… no.. restore flip flop. bought and sold a couple grand worth of parts (probably broke even). Thought about selling a couple of times.

All I can say is I have found this hobby to be filled with a number of great people who are willing to help us newbies. Hopefully I will finally get a chance to meet a bunch of you (and actually show up with a car) at Gettysburg!

THANKS!

My coupe is not yet complete but I registered for Gettysburg anyway to give myself a deadline. Hope to meet you there!

I'll buy you a cold water, but I am still young enough to drink Beer!

For those of us not that experienced, looking back at my first posts gives me hope I am moving in the right direction…...
