Default Vintage 6v horns.

I have two sets of horns. One set I believe is from a 50-51 Merc and the others are 46-48 ford horns . The problem is only one of the horns actually works the other three just buzz or make little sound. Is there a way to fix these or know of a place I could send them to have fixed ? I would like to have the high/low horns on my 46 sedan than the squeaky horn thats on it now. Any info would be great. BTW these are the regular style horns not the trumpet style.
Thanks.

take off the back cover, look for the adjustment screw and move it in/out to loosen the contact points, I have even bumped them pretty hard on the horn end and that has had results

I know a guys name but not his phone # or address which I have lost.Larry Rose in Wendell North Carolina. If you go to Ebay and type in 6 volt horns you eventually will find a seller LarryR,he list tons of restored horns. He fixed a couple up for me for almost just the shipping charge.

I Pulled the cover off one of the horns last night and tried to adjust it. But no matter how I adjusted it I could not get a good sound out of it. The illustration that 51 merc put on here is the exact same horn as mine. And I did just what it says to do but it still doesn't work.
So maybe Ill do like 37 coupe did and look up the guy on ebay and see if he can do anything for me.
Thanks guys.

Thanks 51 Merc, I adjusted the right side horn on my 36 per the instructions and it works! Originally I put 6V to it on the bench and it buzzed but didn't work when I reinstalled it. It does now.
