Default Front seat install help

Hi All,

I'm finally getting around to installing a front seat in my 48 coupe. Can some one tell me if the seat bolts through the body and frame with a space between the frame and body. Does anyone have a bolt size because I can't find it in a book. I purchased everything in a basket so your help is greatly appricated as always.

Thank you,
CPB

yes they go thru the floor, and thru the frame rail. Mine has a filler piece there between the two.

I do not know the correct size fastener, I just used some grade 5 that fit.

If you have a lot of assembly to do get a body parts book---then using the bolt # you can look in the bolt section for sizes and finish, and there is a notation for special things like hardened high strength ---even washers are listed by inside, outside and thickness

The bolts are 3/8" - 24 x 1 1/2" hex head. The nuts are Marsden locking nuts. The washers are special fender type washers. Id= 25/64, Od=1", thickness = 5/64"
