I want to thank Bubba for sending me a perfect ignition system for the 46, i have struggeled with a miss, most likely caused by a hard to find electrical bridge somewhere. It only occured three or four times a minute. I probably drove Barners, Bubba and my self crazy for at least one year looking for it and trying everything or "everything".
I tried several distributors i had and same problem. I was not born yesterday but after a while i started doubting myself and my stuff, this years christmas gift to the proud low milage 1946 was a complete Bubba built distributor, cables, coil, new era correct black Norwegian hand built "Tor" battery. And it fires right up in 5 degrees below, spent almost 15 minutes to warm up properly though. And it rumbles just perfect and the response is spot on. And the dang "pffft" sound is gone as far as i can hear today. Still icey roads so no real test but it sounds great.
So a big thank you goes out to Bubba for great service and a great product.
