Great photo, thanks. Hope they didn't find and low wires across the road. Since they have everything that was in their house, I guess you could call it a house car.

That is the kind of thing I would like to see in a museum instead of the meticulously restored vehicles.

Wonder if they had to declare any fruit at the border when entering California? Maybe just "the grapes of wrath". No seat belts or child restraints, just grit and hope keeping them aboard. Good luck to them.

Just try doing that today with the kids on top, overloaded load, livestock in the cab, no windshield wipers, missing headlight and no front plate.

Am I missing anything?

Spare on the cab roof. Wonder where the rest of the family rode? They hung on until 39. Tough bunch for sure.
