Default Holley or Stromberg carb.

Has anyone used the aftermarket carburetor that replaces the Ford 2 barrel on a 52 F1,2,3 ? When I got my truck it had a Stromberg on it. I have tried several different carburetors of the FORD type after rebuilding them with no luck. I need a carb that works. I want my yard art to move. Thanks.

Contact Charlie NY, formerly here on the Ford barn. 716-662-9159. He is the man for
Ford / Holley carburetor re-building.

It won't even move? Maybe your problem is something other than the carburetor?

You need a Load a matic distributor for that engine, which needs a special carb/ Works great when setup right?????

Make sure the 94 has the vacuum port on back for the Load o Matic. Then, make sure the throttle shaft isn’t sloppy in the bore. Also , make sure it has been cleaned, cleaned, cleaned, and that mating surfaces are flat. Last but not least, get a quality kit from Daytona, or Cowboy John ( I think he sells kits). It is a simple carb, not rocket surgery.
