Chassis/Frame number.
I am in New Zealand. I have a 1936 Ford V8 which is right hand drive, so made in Canada.
The Frame number is C18BF(star) 492(star) Could someone please tell me what the numbers mean. I know the C is for Canada, the 18 is for V8, and I believe the F is right hand drive, but the others? What are the stars for? Thanks, Chris |

Re: Chassis/Frame number.
I believe the stars are used in place of numbers to designate the start and finish of the number series. That way no one can add numbers.
