Default What 8ba used this big one??

Cleaning up a pile of water necks [thermostat housings] and one nice large one showed up! Large hose opening that is. From what eng, Lincoln maybe? lousey photo- black parts -enlarge for viewing Newc

8ba in an earlier ford with large necks on radiators--made a few of those myself and have seen a couple of cast ones with no numbers

I think they are available on the aftermarket as well. I was looking at some when putting an 8BA in a '36. I thought they were prohibitively expensive. I just made a "bushing" from a length of the smaller 8BA sized hoses and never looked back.

I have an 8ba in my '39 p/u. I'm using 1 3/4" thermostat housings in place of the stock 1 1/4" housings. Got them from Gene at Model Engineering. Drake and other suppliers listed them when I bought mine but everyone was out of stock except for Model Engineering. As a bonus they were cheaper and so was shipping.
