Looking for Supplier of Model A Trunk Accessories
I have finished the wood portion of a trunk for my Victoria. I want to find a supplier for the heavy leather trim for the corners, brass tacks and latches. Has anyone built a trunk and found a supplier for these accessories? Thank you, Ed

Re: Looking for Supplier of Model A Trunk Accessories
Please share a picture when finished. I started a red oak trunk for mine, will not be original style. Ordered some accessories from Rockler today for mine.

Snyders A Parts for tacks, handles, latches, straps, etc. Doesn't supply leather for corners.

Re: Looking for Supplier of Model A Trunk Accessories
Leather can be soaked in water and then stretched over corners and tacked in place. When dry it will hold its shape and can be trimmed to desired size. You can do this over a wooden mold instead of the trunk.
