Use the 35 36 pitman arm if you have it. Its the shortest and straight/ flat.

I think the change from inside to outside on the pitman arm was the 42 to 48 and also has a offset angle.

They all fit the F1 box, it uses the same sector as a 37 to 48 car box.

You will still need to split the index splines to get it were you want it on the sector
