Default Sheet metal panel under radiator

How do I attach the sheet metal panel that fits under the radiator grill shell on my 1936 Ford Pick-up? A picture would be a big help if possible. What does it bolt to? Thank you

it should have two d nuts in the front corners. Those attach to the inside bottom of the grille. The other end is attached with two 'L' shaped brackets that you can make yourself. These 'L' shaped brackets mount to side of the front frame and also to the back corners of the pan.
If Mr Rogers sees this post, he has a great picture of the part. After I got the picture from Don, I realized that I had one of the two that Ford produced for 1936. One is a slight curve (to the contour of the bottom of the grille), and the other is a series of creases in the metal to form the contour.
Hope this helps some.

Thank you, I went out and looked under the pick-up for the hole to mount the rear pan strap to and all I could find was the lower bolt holding the front fender bracket to the frame. Is this where the rear pan strap mounts to?

Craig, Here are some photos that I got a while back from Lawson and Gerry Grayson. There were 2 styles of panels, but they both mounted the same.

Thank you for the pictures Don. The panel I have is pictured on the right. I purchased a fiberglass panel from Wescott's quite some time ago and am just now trying to install it. I still can't see where the rear straps are bolted to the frame so I will have to fabricate the strap and mount where ever I can find a place, probably to the front fender bracket where it attaches to the frame.

Yes, that helps a lot. It shows the bracket going to the bottom bolt of the front fender bracket like I thought. Thank you
