Re: Model T&A era only Car Show in CT
This was a great show last year! I won't be able to make it this year as I'll be travelling, but for those that are in the area and haven't been to the show, I took a lot of pictures last year. I was in a marketing class and we needed to design a website, so I played around and posted them here:
http://fordsladya.weebly.com/ For those of you that can attend, enjoy it! There were a lot of great cars! |

Re: Model T&A era only Car Show in CT
The weather forecast currently shows partly sunny for Saturday morning, then 50% chance of rain later in the day. If this holds true, the show will go on!
I will post again Saturday morning around 7am once I review the weather. Hope to see you all there. |

Re: Model T&A era only Car Show in CT
Looking forward to it. The last forecast I saw showed clouds after noon, but no rain until about 7:00 in the evening.
I'm not worried about a little rain anyway. I put a new roof on two years ago, and I now drive in all kinds of weather. Ken

Great model T & A show at the cider Mill this year. More vendors came and show cars, the weather was great and a good time was had by all. Thanks to the Beardsley family.

Re: Model T&A era only Car Show in CT
What a great day at the Beardsley Cider Mill. We left Bridgehampton NY at 5:30 AM and headed to Port Jefferson ( about 48 miles) to catch the 7:00 Ferry that travels across Long Island Sound to Bridgeport CT (An hour and 15 minute trip). Once on shore in CT drove the short trip (about 25 miles to Shelton) and arrived at the Beardsley Cider Mill event hosted by Dan Beardsley and arrived at about 9:10 AM. What a great day re-connecting with the regular attendees and meeting some new people also. Great weather, great cars, great location and in all not a bad trip. After catching the 3:30 Ferry Boat in Bridgeport and sailing to Port Jefferson we arrived home at 6:30 PM after driving through the Long Island Traffic and stopping at 95% of the traffic lights that somehow knew the I was approaching and turned RED. Dan , I say a big Thank You and vow to return again next year. Model A and T folk are great people. They are what America is all about. Steve Halsey. PS stop by the Cider Mill this fall and sample their produce. Pies. apples etc.
