If I remove this clip that holds the throttle cable to the dash and remove the firewall clip, will the whole cable assembly pull out thru the dash hole? Looks like a bugger of a job to re-install. Really difficult working on the back of the dash with my 77 year old body.

Hi John,Yes the slide the clip off then uncouple at the carb then remove the clamp that is secured to the outside of the firewall. Lots of fun laying on the floor of the car. Dave Collette
