Pull the floor boards back out and the inspection cover off so you can see what's going on

I'm not going to repeat the first question.
If you're afraid to go out and drive it, then put it in gear with the clutch pedal depressed and rock the car to try and free up the stuck disk. Seems like you said the oil was 600 weight ? Just where did that come from. Are you sure its not 600W. |

Okay- gotcha. This may sound like a noob question but what will I see once I look in there? Will I see the flywheel stuck?

By 600 weight I meant the normal Model T and Model A transmission oil sold by the vendors. I put it in myself.

If the car was mine I would jack up the rear wheels install jack stands start the car in 3rd gear rev it up & jam on the brakes a few times . It has worked for me.

Put the car in high gear, hold the clutch pedal down while driving at a moderate speed then get on and off the throttle rapidly while the clutch is depressed. The resulting loads put on the clutch disc will probably break it loose.
You will have to tow or push start it while in high gear with the clutch depressed. Bill |

Maybe the lever on the end of the clutch shaft is broken and the shaft is not turning so the clutch remains engaged.
Have someone depress and release the clutch over and over again while you look at lever to see if it is cracked. If cracked you can see the crack widen when you push the pedal and narrow when released. |

Finally After 26 replies #27 is the way to go. Benson could also have the answer, but when this happens from just setting, it's almost a guarantee that the disc is stuck to the flywheel.
I'd let the engine warm up in neutral, then shut it off, shift to second gear and start the engine and head down the road. Then push in the clutch and give it the gas and let up as mentioned in #27. This way it will be a one man job and shouldn't need to be pulled or pushed. Hopefully you live where the traffic is light. |

The disk is stuck like everyone says. With the engine off, Push the clutch in, put it in third gear and have someone push the car. It will break loose. Happens all the time when a car sits.

Thanks Gents- will do, as a noob with Model A's, this is the first time it has happened.
Thanks to everyone for the priceless support and help!!! I'll keep you updated as I attempt to free the stuck disc. The weather is warmer this week and my subdivision is mostly calm and quiet which is perfect for a little light driving.

I have a question? Did you drain the transmission oil or added? Was the shift tower removed when you added or drained? Or did you removed the plus? Cuz that's the only change you made. Besides the floor boards. Just thinking.

Probably not this, but when you put the shift tower back on after adding trans oil, were you careful to make sure the gears and forks were lined up right?
