What would an unknown (as to running) 60Hp with aluminum head be worth? Don't know what year but DO know its a 60?

My comments are based on what I have actually sold. The 1940 is the most desirable for racing use. I sold a running 1940 60hp for $1500. I have sold incomplete engines 1937-39 for $300 range, have one available now. A lot (maybe most) of 60hp engines are just being assembled for display, the early 1937 tin side (stainless) is the most popular for this use.
Here's one of the ways to tell 1937-39 from a 1940, the 40 has its oil fill in the intake (intakes can be interchanged) the 37-39 has a cast boss for the oil fill pipe in the bell housing just below the back of the left head.

There was one on a local on-line auction in Minnesota last month. It was not a '40 and complete down to the carb and transmission and turned over. It went for $702 (over $800 with tax and buyers commission). I only saw the crappy auction pictures, but it appeared to be very dirty, but probably not left outside.

and here's a radiator for one for $80

Both are separate ads but both say they are for a 37
