Anyone Recognize these Fenders?
Curious if anyone knows the origin of the open fenders on the speedster for sale at the link below? Would love to find some for a speedster project.

Thank you, that was my first thought as well. However, I don't see that they offer any that are just open and flat like this?

Since it is the edge lip that gives a fender its strength to stay in shape and not flex and flap around, only very early cars that did not go fast had fenders made this way.
Seeing a bead rolled in the cowl makes me think that perhaps whoever made the sheetmetal for the body also rolled out these fenders. My money is on a home grown body and fenders from the shop behind the green door! |
