Default Great service from Concours Auto Parts, Carson City, NV

I placed an order for rubber spring insulators for the rear of my '54 Ranch Wagon but the stock retainers were still good so I didn't order them. When I received the insulators they were a bit too large of the retainers. I figured that they were just another crappy repro part that needed to be tweaked. Well I tweaked it enough to realize it would never fit and also F'd up the rubber pad. I called Concours and they said they hadn't had any problems with the pads not fitting in the stock retainers and that I must have non OEM retainers. OK so I order 4 new retainers and one rubber pad to replace the one I destroyed. The new parts came in a couple of days and funny thing how the new pad was different from the ones I initially received and it fit like a glove in my old retainers. I sent Concours an email yesterday explaining the situation and first thing this morning I had an email crediting my account. Don't have to send the retainers I didn't need back or the incorrect rubber pads AND they are sending the correct pads out today, no charge. Concours realty stepped up and corrected this problem no questions asked. In light of all negative feed back some vendors receive I thought I'd share a very positive experience.

Concours currently is having a 10%-off sale on all non-discounted parts. You will need to enter the special code on your order form, but you can find the code on their website. Shipping is always free on orders of $300+, excluding large/heavy items. For example, they charge $30 to ship a water pump. The sale ends September 11th, but they usually have the same 10%-off sale every 2-3 months, particularly around holidays.
