1922 Waterous fire engine #943 built on a TT chassis. This truck spent it's entire life in the city of Wautoma, Wisconsin. First as the town's first gas powered fire engine bought new on August 22nd 1922. In the 1940's it was decommissioned and given to the American Legion Post 317 and used as a parade vehicle until about 5 years ago when I purchased it from the Legion.

This truck is in great condition with absolutely zero rust. It has been stored inside it's entire life. The truck runs and drives great. The engine is all original and has the original standard bore cylinders. Only known engine work is the installation of new valves by me.

Unfortunately, many of the original fire related accessories from the truck were removed through the years. The truck does retain the original chemical tank, hose, and nozzel. Along with the original wood slats in the hose bed and wood running boards.

The Waterous Company is still in business today manufacturing fire apparatus components. I contacted the company and they sent me the original bill of sale from the truck when sold new. It lists all options included on the truck and the date of delivery. They also sent me copies of sales and marketing materials from the era.

This truck is very unique and is a great conversation piece. Enjoy as is, or restore to original condition, the choice is yours. I simply have too many projects and would like to see a new owner enjoy this time capsule.
