Default V8 estate Sale new camshaft

We in RG # 10 just had a member's estate sale... 90% '40 parts even a '40 dlx tudor-solid project. V8 ers priced it and were a bit high, but still lots of goodies. I bought a new [nos?] camshaft and am trying to ID it. '48 and earlier type stamped T-5. Lift measures .325" best I can figure out. Nice and clean too. Any ideas fellows??? I do need one for a mild '39/40 Merc build. Thanks Newc

The chances are, it is a stock core although the lift is a bit high. It may have been reground. If the journals are within tolerance, the fuel pump lobe is good, no cracks around the bolt holes, the thrust face is not galled and no obvious abuse marks, it will probably be ok for grinding to a performance type.

If it has a stock base circle, it might be a Mellings 3/4

The Melling cams I've seen were not stamped with 5T. They used their own blanks.
