Steering service bulletin
Hello,
this may sound silly but I have a 1939 Plymouth pickup truck model PT81. It used a Gemmer 2 tooth steering box similar to the Model A ford. I had an A and recognized this box. On another site it stated there was a Ford Service Bulletin on how to adjust this box. Can someone direct me to a link or a place where I can get these instructions. The ones in the Plymouth service manual have very little in the adjustment procedure. The only difference I see between the two are the sector shaft on mine is splined and 1.250" in diameter. Also the chassis mounting is with 4 bolts rather than two. Thanks in advance. Best regards, wings515 |
