Distributor Installation
Hope everyone is okay!
I have a 1949 Ford Panel Truck with a Ford 6 Cylinder Engine. The Distributor is out and I need to Install it. Can anyone out there give me instructions on Installation and lining up. Really appreciate any help. Bob |

Re: Distributor Installation
put the #1 piston all the way up with both valves closed, thats tdc of compression stroke or close enough, then you need to know where the #1 wire is on the distributor cap, drop in the dizzy with the rotor pointing to #1 and you should be close enough to get it to start. leave the dizzy slightly loose so you can move it once running, get it close by ear and finish up with a timing light
