No Ron, it's out of publication. John isn't putting it out anymore. I believe it fell victim to Covid as I recall.

It was a good magazine I enjoyed it.

I was on an automatic renewal, and they refunded my money almost immediately along with a note that they ceased publication because of Covid.

I paid in full a one year renewal in April. No magazine, no notice of cancellation, no refund!

I believe John LaVoy who owned the magazine was just elected to the MAFCA Board.

I noticed that as well. I didn't vote for him since I never got a refund for the balance of my subscription from the previous year.

I just seen an ad in the latest issue of Model A News (Nov-Dec) for Model A Times (pg. 66). Has it been determined that the magazine has indeed shut down?

I tried contacting them several months ago and never got a response. I just assumed they weren’t interested in new customers.

I paid for my year's subscription ($32.00) on July 9, 2020 and only received three issues after that. The last one was Volume 17, Issue One, Winter 2021. I'd say he owes me $8.00...............

They also still list Mel Mallory as owner of FSI. Mell died several years ago.

Well that sounds to me like FSI should change their ad?

But why would Model A Times continue to advertise if they were no longer publishing the magazine?

Maybe they had prepaid the ad for the year.

Maybe someone should just reach out to John LaVoy. He’s active in the hobby, even if he doesn’t sign in here that often. This is pretty much speculation and rumor, go to the source for the answer.
