Default Reselling parts bought from the dealers

I needed a new mirror to clamp on my windwing. Having seen the Out Of Stock notice for about a year on the sites I went to eBay. Here is what I found.

Yeah, I have been looking for a set of those. Guess I will be waiting a little longer.

The seller likely is out of stock, so rather than pull the listing and then have to re-list, they just add a ridiculously high price so no one buys it. Now the listing stays and when the product comes in they can take the price back down and all is back to normal. If by chance someone is dumb enough to pay it, they'll cough one up from somewhere.

If you are not high point fixated you can get functional mirrors that look halfway decent at most auto parts stores for around $25

(yep, my car is original, even has the black and white mirrors, 'cuase you know, colored mirrors didn't come along until WWII)... I love using that on people...some of them really believe it, try it for yourself

This was the same theory on another forum I peruse. There was a seller with a gas tank that was something stupid like $12,000.
