Default 49 ford push button radio

HI guys how do I set the push buttons on the radio so it will stop on the station ?. thanks, Jack

Tune the station with the manual tuning knob. Then reduce volume then loosen the desired push button by turning the button counterclockwise one turn.
Push the button in until it bottoms and release carefully. Tighten the button securely by turning it clockwise. Adjust volume. Adjust the remaining buttons.

Copied from page 186 section (b) Push Button of the Green Bible.

Not many AM stations remain these days.

I know this does not answer your question . We left our original PB radio as a facade and fitted a blue tooth unit behind it operated by a remote.

Thanks Tom, your wright there is only 1 AM station I could find. I would rather listen to the smittys anyway . Jack
