The door panels on the Galaxie have chrome tap layered on plastic strips in the door panel. The tape is coming off. Any suggestion on where to buy the replacing the tape

I think I remember some talk of using automotive chrome tape, just google it. Seems like the fox Mustang guys are faced with similar problem and using the tape. Just a thought but if it all comes off to the vinyl underneath just paint it?

are you looking for a double sided tape. Some one mentioned to me 3M VHB - supposed to be very high bond
