Default hot water heater

This has been talked about sometime or another I am sure, but could you tell me what type did you use and did you run the hose through the firewall or under the floorboard?

I have the combination A/C - Heater from Ken Davis. I ran the hoses through the floor board right around the steering column.

Here's some pictures of mine, bought in a junk yard out of an old truck in 1960. Hoses through ffirewall, wchich previous owner had already butchered to accomodate manifold heater, thankfully. Note close fit at choke rod; need to bend fuel shutoff handle. Most important: on/off control is in kick panel on wife's side!
