Default 82-B Cab - Soft-top to Steel-top conversion

Has anyone converted a 1930 82-B soft-top cab to a steel-top cab?

I believe the following are needed:

Indented fire wall and gas tank
steel roof panel
steel roof ribs

Anyone know of a reason why this conversion is not possible?

I did one in the early 80's.I didn't bother with the firewall,I was only looking to have a sound cab,not a restoration.i think I used the middle rib out of a Tudor.I also used one of those fiberglass roofs made by somebody in the midwest.I liked it.I think the seat riser is different too,but I don't know how or why.

I think you will need to cut some of the cab back off to get the steel top to fit.
The part on the far right of the picture.
