Default Removing a 32 5- window pass door latch

I have it almost out but the glass metal channel (and felt channel?) is/are in the way of removing it.

What needs to be done from this point? Window is still in - you can see that the interior of the spring is broken and the second pic shows the screw I think I need to remove to get the metal window channel piece out of the way and jockey out the latch. Do I need to remove the felt channel completely?

Thanks for any help you can give ......

Generally the rear verticle felt channel must be removed. I used to make them ,but now United pacific has them, very cheap and they fit well. Same on the Pickups must be removed. Newc
