Welcome. Please accept my comments as constructive. You will find that the best approach is to have people post their information instead of forwarding it. If their information is correct everyone can benefit from it. If it is incorrect and forwarded to you no one else will see it and correct it. Another bad thing about forwarding the information, no one will know if you have any or enough. Another thought, have you done a search for Weiand and read the results?

I bought a brand new one in 1965 for $25.I don't know if the were still being made then or if it was NOS. It was very high compression--too high for a kid like me who was driving my model A every day and wanting some reliability. I sold it a couple of years later for $50.

I have a Weiand head, cc'd to 6.8 CR, but had to opened the chambers a bit for oversize valves. It is similiar to the Winfield crows foot design. Good head. Use it. PS: I have babbitt bearings and have not had any problems.

Weiand, (say why-and). As pc/sr says above they were a good head. Being aluminum they may be corroded, so be aware.
