Who rebuilds coils and roughly what does it cost to get one done?

I worked a deal with Ron to have my coils rebuilt and in exchange I gave him X number of coils that were excess to my needs. I forget what the price he charges was, but it was something like $30 per coil plus shipping if memory serves. That was probably 5 - 6 years ago, so maybe his price is changed. Or not. Get them done once by Ron and you will not likely ever need to do anything to them again in your lifetime. One of my T's has a set rebuilt by Ron in 2001. Perhaps 25,000 miles since then, including an engine rebuild. Coils still flawless.

Ron charges $40 per coil - sometimes he offers free shipping. He did a nice job on mine. I've heard nothing but good things about Brent as well. John sold Fun Projects to Birdhaven and is mostly retired from Model T related businesses.

The coil dr did mine 7 years ago. Still going strong. I also run them on 12 volt.
