Those are AR hubcaps.
Notice the wheel nuts.....they are the same as the Model T. Also AR. The acorn styled wheel nuts came later. It has a bolted end on the bumper, as opposed to the very early production, with the open bumper bars. Hope this is of some interest. Jeff

What a difference 80 years make. 1928 workers on a brick floor, no rubber mats, half of workers with glasses, today mandatory safety glasses, 1928 no ear plugs today ear plugs or possibly earmuffs. Was workers compensation available in 1928, I'm not that old!

Here are two more pics from the Rouge plant. The first taken on 3-8-28 with a run of U.S. Royal tires (plant was here in Detroit) and the second pic from 4-10-28 with a run of the same Firestone tires.
