Flathead Temperature Sending Units - 6V or 12V?
Hello Everyone,
I need some clarification, please. I have an 8BA in a '51 Mercury. I've converted it to 12V. I've purchased 6V reproduction wiring harnesses for engine and dash/body. I'm using a Voltage Reducer on the back of the gauges. My question is about temp sending units. Am I supposed to use a 6 volt or 12 volt sending units? This has me a little bit confused. Do they make 12 volt sending units? I could swear I have seen them for sale. |
