I'm looking for a good pair of:
'55 Ford ECG-C - (272-4bbl) Heads
for a '55 272 Y-Block. (Ford part # B5A 6049-L)

I have a pair of ECZ C heads, surfaced, seats and valves ground.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry for the confusion, but I'm looking for ECG-C Head casting numbers for the '55 "182 H.P. Special" (with F/M) 272 with 4bbl. (Ford part # B5A 6049-L)

Hi Trey Deuce. You might try EBAY if you haven't already. I've seen NOS ECG-D heads on there before. I know that's not the one you need (2 bbl. 272 head with larger chamber).
I have also seen a NOS '55 Merc/T-Bird 292 head before on EBAY (198 HP 4 bbl). Pretty sure that head has the same sized chambed as the ECG-A & C's.

Thanks, Sal. I currently have several saved seaches in my Ebay account pertaining to the ECG-C heads. I may have found a TX source with a CVA tech advisor, pending an expedition and archeological dig. Regards, Paul

I looked at all my y block heads and I have a pair of ECG-D and a pair of ECR-A

Thats the closest I can help.
