29 Town Car front seating
Hello all, Can I get any comments on the driver's seating area. Is it similar to other 29 cars, in that someone like me who is 6'2" cannot properly drive it due to my knees being on the dash? Thanks, Dave

Re: 29 Town Car front seating
I rode in the 29 Town Car at the Henry Ford Museum a few years ago. I am 6'2" and had no trouble in the front passenger side. Jim Brand was driving.

Re: 29 Town Car front seating
Do you mean a Town Car (chauffeur driven)
or a Town Sedan (four door sedan)? W. Michael |

If you buy one, make sure it's real - there are fakes out there.

Re: 29 Town Car front seating
I am 5' 10" and I do not have a problem with the drivers seat in my Town Car. However my legs are shorter than average. at 6' 2" you may have problems depending on the length of your legs. The back rest of the seat is very upright and can be uncomfortable.

I didn't stand next to Tim Kelly at Model A day, but I believe he is on the tall side. He has 5 of them, I believe, so he has to be able to drive them.

Re: 29 Town Car front seating
I am 6’2” and both the town car and town car delivery are the most uncomfortable A’s I have ever sat in. Those poor guys who drove them for a living were either really short or real troopers or both.
