I have used dynamat where the access is limited by cutting it in small pieces and placing them one at a time. The size and shape will depend on the access.

I used the foil faced (2 sides) with plastic bubble stuff that is sold by Menards with the 3M #90 adhesive they sell, worked good to quiet the car up and provides insulation. Made a big difference summer and winter for me.

Just another product, I used this one my Sport Coupe and it worked well, self adhesive like the Dynamat and other products.

I cannot imagine getting anything but spray into a roadster door. Eastwood markets a good spray sound deadener (Flexible Sealer & Sound Deadener 16 oz Aerosol) that would work good in a roadster or Phaeton door. I wonder though how much value sound deadener would be in a open car. I have a '29 Phaeton and the wind noise covers any body rattles.

My '31 S/W Town Sedan had spray deadener in the doors. I added additional Eastwood spray product to it. I also installed one layer of 1/4" thick double foil faced insulation. I rolled it up, worked it through the largest opening and then unrolled it within the door.
Good Day!

Quiet Ride - I bought one of their kick panel kits
Dynamat - Got some of that from Snyder's
Road Kill - My son sells this in his shop. He just did the whole cab of his Ranger pickup.
