Default 8 vs 10 leaf spring

Has anyone had experience with an 8 leaf spring in a Tudor that should have a 10 leaf pack. Will it ride better but still sit right when not loaded.

I replaced the 10 leaf spring pack in my CCPU for the roadster 7 leaf spring. It didn’t appear to change the height of the rear much but it sure does ride better.

I pulled 3 leaves out of my '30 tudor to make it lower in back. It accomplished what I wanted and rode nicer too. When doing so always leave the top leaf in place as it is contoured to fit into the cross member.
