Default Model A down draft intake Manifold

Model A Burns intake.
This is another product we are in the process of making. Takes Stromberg 97 and Holley 94's and is cast from a high quality alloy, heat treated and cnc machined.

We will have this product and the other products we make on display at the PATE swap meet in late April.
Swap meet sites 21-7 276 to 281.

For further information please message myself or phone my USA agent Jerry Hopkins 903 875 9557

Custom... I'd like to see it bolted onto a complete engine. With matching side covers of course.

Without a heat source of some sort, a carburettor is prone to icing up in cold conditions. I've experienced it with my converted downdraught manifold. What is the heat source?

From my experience with dual carbs in the earlier 60 's; the dual setup suffers even more so than single with icing problem if no hotplate is used.

TJW,
I'm TOTALLY taken aback, at what INGENIUS Men, like you, can CREATE!
Chief, my Dad, made test castings, while working at a Magnesium Foundry, even made DISTRIBUTOR CAPS, but they didn't "catch on"---LOL

If these pictures show up, you will see the 'heat' pad on this original Ansen intake..as example of what was being asked about.
The other picture of Ansen blockoff outlet plate and an Ansen adapter are something that you might want to make available also.

When we talked a while ago on the Early V8 side, you suggested that I submit any / all ideas for 'stuff' to make for the hobby.

I submit that most of the 'alloy' stuff is used by non restorers mostly, but that crowd is huge, IMV and you WILL do well to make lots available for sale.

You mention 'side plates'. I have several rare desirable side plates , mostly for the B engine use.

My question is....can you operate from pictures OR how is that done to make something.
IMO, there is a fairly big crowd to buy up your alloy goods, especially of the QUALITY that you show so far ! I lost your email/web contact info, just as I've lost a goodly part of my mind as getting older.

NOTE;
Won't allow me to load pictures !!
What the heck is a "security token" ????????

I've seen heat provided to a modified inlet manifold by adding a water jacket to take hot water from the front of the head (where it gets hot first). The guy who did this was able to reduce the carby jets by one size, thus improving economy with no loos of power. Just a suggestion!

Hi Hard Times Thanks for your comments. It is not a problem to add a heat pad to some of the intakes when I am casting them.
I would be interested in seeing photos of some parts you may like to see remade. my email is [email protected]
To make a very good pattern I really need an original sample.
I am going to send you a private message about this.
Thanks Terry Wills

Looking for a downdraft intake for my Model A (28) 4 banger, that allows me to install lakestyle headers. Any suggestions?
