1928-1929 Splash Aprons
I have a pair of 1928-1929 splash aprons that have "round holes" for attaching the front fenders.
All of the others I have seen have "oblong holes". Did they come both ways like that OR do I have a pair of the repro types? Thanks. Pluck |

Re: 1928-1929 Splash Aprons
Pluck,
'29 Special Coupe splash apron.. as I understand, the holes were punched "slotted", to allow for minor adjustment during fender/RB/splash apron alignment during assembly, then tightened after final alignment. I had to raise the body for DMV, and to my knowledge these aprons had not been off before that. kb |

Pluck..
This photo shows the "oblong" hole pattern. I believe this apron had never been removed by previous owners. kb |
