Default 1950 sedan dash wiring

I want to replace the wiring in my 1950 sedan. I'll be keeping it stock with the 6 volt positive ground. For those who have done this, is it best to remove the dash to remove and install that part of the new harness, or will that open up a whole new can of worms?

I haven't worked on a 50 sedan but on a 46 Tudor removing the dash made rewiring much easier. There were still connections to be made on the firewall after reinstalling the dash but all doable. Removing the seat is a big help.

Remove the dash. It will be easier in the long run. As well as some before pictures.

Just removing the front seat helps a lot.

Remove the seat, heater, radio and glovebox. Also, disconnect the pedal rods. You should be able to work comfortably then. If not, you can always drop the dash then.
