Temp gauge probe pipe
I want to install a temp gauge in my 29 Tudor. I want to install the probe pipe in the top radiator hose. What size pipe do I buy Is the 38mm the right one? Thank you. Don

Re: Temp gauge probe pipe
I take the easy option and put the sensor in the BACK of the goose neck. NOT in the side like the ones you get from the vendors. The probe then makes access to the head nuts difficult. I can't imagine anyone being so dumb as to do it that way, let alone have them made that way to sell. JUst my 2c worth.

But I agree, it could have been designed differently.

Re: Temp gauge probe pipe
At any rate I don't think any of us answered DBrer's question and I am not quite sure what he is asking.

Re: Temp gauge probe pipe
I would go for 1/2" NPT fitting, it can be bushed down if needed. Kinda hard to bush up.
