The big one is Model T if the large opening is 15/16", the large opening is larger for a Model A, 1&1/8" IIRC. The large opening is for spark plugs and the box end is for the head nuts or studs. Some of the smaller wrenches may be Model T, for adjusting the bands.
Any of those wrenches have numbers on them?

The top (big) one says : T-5893.
The second, third and fifth (from top) have "M" on the back.

They can be ANY kind of wrenches, depends what KIND of Car you're workin' on---LOL---Ever work on a Humber Super Snipe? Or a Simca Arronde V-8? They used a French version of Fords' V8-60 & always smoked & used oil!

T-5893 is for a Model T, it fits the spark plugs and the head studs.

Bill, I had a shop doing foreign car repair in the early 60's. Lots of VWs plus the odd ones like the V8-60 Simca, Humbers, Wolsey, Standard Vanguards, Jag MKV, Lloyd, several MGs. I even had a customer who had a 1934 Lagonda sports car. I never worked on it but he bought Castrol oil from me. His son still has the car but moved to the west coast so I haven't seen it in years. I did some work one time on an early 30's Humber that the British shipping agent had run dry of water and cracked the head. Interesting old car with a pre-selector gearbox. Thanks for triggering these memories. Now back to Model As and the simple life.

forgive me, but isn't a model A 1/2 inch wrench the same size as a model T 1/2 inch wrench?
why is there a distinction between the two? if it fits use it... which is heavier a ton of bricks or a ton of feathers?

The wrenches may fit the same size nut or bolt head, but the outside size and shape of the wrenches and the markings are different. Someone who wants original tools for the correct era of their vehicle would need to be able to distinguish between them. Most likely, they will be showing the correct tools in a display with their vehicle.
Now, if all you want is a half inch wrench, then it really doesn't matter when it was manufactured or where you obtained it.
