Default Tips/tricks for removing starter "cup" on oil pan

Hi Folks:

Looking for some tips/tricks on how to best remove the starter bendix "cup" on a 59AB oil pan. Seems like they are pressed in. Like to remove without causing damage.

Thanks,

Tim

On those I have removed the "cup" edge was rolled over on the inside of the pan. Carefully unrolling the lip with a cotter key remover and screwdriver has worked for me.
