Default 33/34 Radiator differences

Question for the Model 40 experts. Are there any differences in the radiators between '33 and '34? My '33 came with one, but we're not sure if it's a '33 rad. or not, or if it matters. I will be running a stock '33 grill and hood. I assume all V8 passenger cars are the same within a model year.

The 34 radiator has a clip on the side strap that engages the front opening handle on the hood, the 34 has two handles on the hood, 33 has one

They are interchangeable. The only difference I have ever seen, is that a "correct" 1933 radiator has a little pocket in the top of the side support where it is soldered to the top tank on each side. The pocket is created by a little flare in the side support where the side support is attached to the top tank. The purpose of this pocket is to provide a place to rest the front corner of the hood to keep it from falling down when raised. The '34s have a stamped crease in the cowl top to rest the back edge of the hood on to hold it up, whereas the cowl top is flat and smooth on a '33. All '33-'34 passenger car radiators are the same otherwise. I've looked at lots of '33s and have only seen a few radiators that have this pocket, so I guess many got replaced with '34 radiators over the years. This attached picture is of a 28,000 mile original car.

You got me on that one, I don't know anything about commercial vehicles except that they have different hoods and grilles, so might be a whole different ball of wax!

The radiators themselves seem to be the same; they just use different brackets to mount the grille shell. I need to look at my small collection and see what I have...
