Default Bratton's shipping.

Well I just bought the '31 Model A a week ago and have already ordered two times from Bratton's.Unbelievable shipping time.Ordered yesterday at a little past noon and got this morning, regular ground FedEx.Must be a quick direct route to Ohio.

The crew at Brattons is first class. Brattons and Berts are my go to vendors for parts and tech advise.

Noting against Bratton's, but you are in Ohio - the home of Snyder Antique Autoparts... Just saying.

I ordered a new radiator from Brattons on Thursday, early afternoon. It was at my front door Saturday before noon - and I live in Florida. Furthermore, the paint wasn't even dry on the radiator!!! Color me amazed. My hat is off to them. Exceptional Service!

I guess I may go over there someday but it will still be 7 1/4% Ohio state sales tax.

I have a 32 but if brattons has the parts they get my order. Super happy with a number of transactions.

Can't have it all - it is either sales tax or shipping.

Best of both worlds here. Delaware is only 60 miles away from Bratton's and no sales tax. Sorry.

There was just a supreme court ruling on sales tax for mail order. Your savings may change soon.

Not necessarily. The recipient of the mail order is (-by current law) already supposed to be paying the sales tax to their state. There are already something like 5 states that are required to collect sales tax on all out of state purchases, ...regardless of how it leaves the state. What the Supreme Court just ruled is a state can require online retailers to collect sales tax however it was quickly appealed, and I would expect it will remain that way for quite awhile. Why I would expect this is because the extra burden it would require retailers to collect, report, and send $$ to the 49 other states. Also, think of the impact it would have on eBay and Craigslist.

This hobby is very fortunate to have some GREAT suppliers who know our cars and really care. And now with the resurgence of USPS they are my preferred shipper for anything they can carry. I live if FL and with the time zone help I can order something from Bert's in Denver on Saturday afternoon and it is delivered to my home on Monday by noon. How good is that.

There is software in place to add in sales tax. In opinion, collecting STATE sales tax on MO sales is ok and the state can distribute it as they see fit. The problems pop up when you see over 10,000 different tax districts. Go with 50 and call it good.
