Post 16 guage wire

1935 ford coupe. changed over to 12 volt system. I got new wiring harness for the car. it is 6 volt. will running 12 volts through that wire hurt anything. like running the head lights and tail lights

no, 6 volt wires are heavier gauge than 12 volt
