Re: Front End Shake
Coker tires are notorious for being out of round/out of balance. Read some of the posts on the HAMB. I have four new Coker firestone bias ply tires on my fresh '32 roadster--haven't driven it yet--keeping my fingers crossed as I'm sure they are out of warranty.

Grumpy
Any Truck shop will have a balancing device to balance tires on the vehicle. Might be an option for you Jim |

Re: Front End Shake
My 33 roadster developed a death wobble, when braking lightly.
By coincidence I saw the frontaxle moving when i turned the steering wheel, thank god for no fenders :-) It was the rubber ball that have given up after eight years more or less drenched in oil. My Model a Roadster i had to add a VW Steering dampner. to stop the wobble. |

Re: Front End Shake
Took tires and rims, front only back to have the balance re-done. Found a dirt dobber nest in passenger side rim, guy told me it changed the balance by 1 1/2 oz. Had them road balance them . Still haven't found any shop that will balance drum's, guess I'll get out the side grinder and do it my self. These drums have the groves on the outside ( called Lincoln style ) have lot of metal to work with. We've had 16" of rain in the last few days and mosquitos are really bad, have to wait a while to get back to work. Al
