Default More Model A Art!

All- Just wanted to share some more model a art that I found today. I think the love for the model a can go beyond the car and into art and just enhance the experience. I found this today at the thrift store and it is hand signed by Dalhart Windberg. Got it for 21.00 and took it to hobby lobby and had it cleaned and new back paper put on for 16.00. Ralph

Good find Ralph! I too enjoy the thrift shops, and have picked up "A" art. Keep up the hunt. Jeff

Very nice. That tree and those rocks look so real.

I keep looking for old car and train picture postcards and stereo picture cards, but never find any.

Tom.....I will keep an eye out for you........I visit the thrift stores regularly. I purchased a jack Daniels train set about a month ago. It was given only to distributors of jack Daniels. Supposedly very few sets were produced and one sold on eBay for 300.00. I got the whole set with track and controller for less than 20 bucks.Ralph

I had the Jim Beam Train set from the late 70's, still full and in original boxes, but it was stolen when the thieves broke into my house.

Just thought I'd share this painting of my Model A. I had an artist paint it from a photograph which I supplied and asked if he could add a typical Australian bush background. He warned me that he had never painted a car as he usually does landscapes and seascapes. However, I was very happy with the result.

That's pretty cool, Runnerbun! And he's got the old Queenslander spot on, too!

So it looks like that the A art is a natural progression of the love for the Model A. It is also confirmation to me that I am truly infected and that I am not interested in having a cure for my malady! Tom.....the above picture is of the train set I referenced earlier. It(not shown in picture) still has the price I paid of 19.91 on the side of the box,Ralph
